We will try to update our photos frequently with pictures of our various adventures that depict visually the experiences that we will detail in this blog. We hope that our photos capture the progress of our projects as well as a variety of aspects of the culture and our experiences in Uganda. They begin with a selection of photos from the aforementioned experiences: Maital’s first trip to Uganda, our wedding, and the past year in Princeton. Sue told me she had e-mailed you and I asked her to forward your address–I clicked onto the blog and have been enmeshed in your adventures all morning (my pile of essays waiting to be corrected doesn’t even enter my mind anymore). I am just astounded by the life you and your wife have chosen–you guys are amazing!!! I shall continue to read all your updates–and live vicariously through you. I”m sure Schechter seems worlds away…literally and figuratively. Chag Sameach–are there latkes in Uganda???? Someone told me there was going to be a documentary on tv about the Abayudaya in Uganda–I guess you don’t need to see it! Anyway, Chag Sameach and best wishes to you both. I’m watching–and I appreciate your beautifully descriptive blogging.
